Millwall have secured promotion to the Championship after winning the Sky Bet League 1 play-off final 1-0 thanks to a goal by Steve Morison. Millwall make a return to the Championship after a 2-year absence. Unfortunately, however, the match was overshadowed at the end by a pitch invasion from the Millwall fans, with a few even trying to confront Bradford City players.
Speaking to BBC Sport, Milwall manager Neil Harris said:
"There was a gut feeling amongst us that it was our time, it was our moment,"
"In the 86th minute [of the final game of the season] at Bristol Rovers we were out of the play-offs.
"We were 0-0 after the first leg [of the semi-final] and people wrote us off. We're 1-0 down in the 44th minute in the second leg away at Scunthorpe and people wrote us off.
"Bradford were better than us in the first half and it looked a long way for us to get in front and to keep the lead. My players find a way all the time."
