Swansea City have announced the loan signing of Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham.

A club statement read:

"Swansea City have completed a season-long loan move for Chelsea’s highly-rated teenage striker Tammy Abraham.

Abraham becomes the Swans’ second signing of the summer, following Dutch keeper Erwin Mulder to the club.

Abraham, who signed a five-year deal with his parent club today, will link up with his new team-mates during the club’s tour of America.

The 19-year-old has just returned from international duty with England Under-21s at the European Championships in Poland, helping them reach the semi-final along with current Swan Alfie Mawson.

He has made two Premier League appearances for Chelsea, who he joined 12 years ago.

Full of potential, his loan spell at Championship side Bristol City last season paid dividends as he scored 26 goals in 48 appearances.

But now he looks set to get considerable Premier League game-time under his belt with Paul Clement’s side, who are preparing for a seventh consecutive campaign in the top flight."
