Lewis Hamilton qualified on pole position for the 2017 British Grand Prix, setting an absolutely dynamite lap of 1:26.600, 0.547s faster than Kimi Raikkonen who qualified on the front row, ahead of Sebastian Vettel who qualified in third. Hamilton, however, was under investigation by the stewards for seemingly impeding Romain Grosjean who was on a flying lap, but has now been cleared of any wrongdoing. Daniel Ricciardo's car stopped on track during Q1, and will be starting from 19th on the grid.
