Ricciardo on pole after dominant lap in Monaco, Verstappen to start last after FP3 crash

Daniel Ricciardo will start on pole position for the Monaco Grand Prix tomorrow, after an impressive qualifying lap of a 1:10.810 which was a new record. Things, however, did not go well for team-mate Max Verstappen, who crashed towards the end of the Final Practice which caused a lot of damage to his car, to the extent that he did not even take part in qualifying. Former Red Bull driver and current Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel will start in second place, with Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton completing the top 3.
