Lewis Hamilton has claimed his 75th career pole position at Paul Ricard for the 2018 French Grand Prix, with team-mate Valtteri Bottas making it a Mercedes 1-2. Sebastian Vettel qualified in 3rd place for Ferrari, with the Red Bull driver of Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo following. In an absolutely outstanding performance, Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc qualified in eighth place - ahead even of both Haas drivers, or be it that Romain Grosjean crashed out during Q3.
