A club statement read:
"Spain international Denis Suarez is joining us from Barcelona on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 25-year-old attacking midfielder is reunited with our head coach Unai Emery. He spent the 2014/15 season on loan with Sevilla, where he was part of the squad which won the 2015 Europa League.
Unai said: “We are very happy that Denis Suarez is joining us. He is a player we know well and I have worked with him at Sevilla. He brings us quality and options in many different attacking positions, so he’ll be able to help the team.”

Whilst a statement regarding Emile Smith-Rowe read the following:
"Emile Smith Rowe has joined Bundesliga side RB Leipzig on loan for the remainder of the 2018/19 season.
The 18-year-old has made an impressive impact this season, scoring three goals from his six first team appearances in the Europa League and Carabao Cup. He has also featured in the Premier League matchday squad.
Emile has made great progress through our academy, which resulted in him signing as a scholar in 2016 and then signing a professional contract a year later in July 2017.
The attacking midfielder is also an England youth international, being part of the Under-17 World Cup-winning team in 2017. He moves to RB Leipzig to gain further valuable first-team experience.
Head coach Unai Emery said: “Emile is a promising young player. This move will get him valuable competitive action which is important as he continues his development.”
We wish Emile well in the Bundesliga for the rest of the season.
The loan deal is subject to the completion of regulatory processes."
