Round-up:

Lincoln City became the first EFL team to seal promotion in confirming their promotion to League 1, despite being held to a 1-1 draw by mid-table Cheltenham Town, as Milton Keynes Dons lost 2-1 away to Tranmere Rovers and Mansfield Town were held to a 1-1 draw away to Northampton Town meant it was enough for Lincoln City to seal promotion - and if they win one more game, they will be confirmed as League 2 champions. Bury took advantage of both Mansfield Town and Milton Keynes Dons slipping up by beating Colchester United 2-0, moving up to second place in the process.

Forest Green Rovers and Exeter City strengthened their grip on a promotion play-off position by beating Macclesfield Town and Port Vale respectively, 2-0 in both cases, also taking advantage of the fact that Carlisle United suffered a humbling 3-0 defeat away to Stevenage.

Both Yeovil Town and Notts County, who currently are lying in the relegation zone suffered defeats, with the former suffering a 1-0 defeat at home to struggling Crawley Town and the latter losing 3-0 away to Crewe Alexandra.

Elsewhere, Oldham Athletic and Swindon Town shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw, whilst Morecambe and Grimsby Town also were involved in a draw, having both scored 1 goal each, and last but not least, Newport County won 3-0 away to Cambridge United.
