The Bundesliga week 6 action came to a conclusion with two matches played today. Firstly, SC Freiburg travelled to Fortuna Düsseldorf and it was the away side who prevailed in a 2-1 victory as they came from behind thanks to goals from Jonathan and Luca Waldschmidt after Rouwen Hennings had given Fortuna Düsseldorf a 42nd minute. Consequently, SC Freiburg move into third place as they have continued their impressive start to the campaign, lying just one point behind league leaders Bayern Munich. Meanwhile, in the final game of week 6 in the Bundesliga, Hertha Berlin recorded back-to-back victories as they comfortably saw 1.FC Köln in a 4-0 triumph thanks to goals from Javairo Dilrosun, Dedryck Boyata and a brace from Vedad Ibisevic, as Köln also went down to ten men after defender Jorge Mere was shown a straight red card.
