Round-up: The Championship's midweek action began in London, as Millwall hosted Swansea City in a clash between two sides aspiring to make the promotion play-off spots. Millwall took the lead in the 21st minute thanks to a goal from Mason Bennett, before that was cancelled out in the 66th minute after a shot from Rhian Brewster hit the post and inadvertently came off goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski's head, before rolling into the goal. Barnsley gave themselves a massive shot in the arm in their bid to avoid relegation, as they recorded a 2-0 win at home to Blackburn Rovers thanks to goals from Conor Chaplin and Jacob Brown. Charlton Athletic earned a useful point in their own battle to avoid relegation, as they recorded a goalless draw away to Cardiff City. Meanwhile, Brentford kept up their impressive form since the resumption of the league following lockdown as they recorded a 3-0 win away to Reading, in a result which keeps their automatic promotion hopes alive thanks to goals from Bryan Mbeumo, Josh Dasilva and Joel Valencia. After suffering back-to-back defeats since the resumption of the league following lockdown, Fulham returned back to winning ways in a 2-1 away win at London rivals Queens Park Rangers. It was actually the hosts who opened the scoring inside the opening minute, thanks to a goal from Jordan Hugill - before that lead was cancelled out 20 minutes later thanks to Harry Arter, before Cyrus Christie bagged Fulham's second goal of the game 15 minutes from time to give Fulham a much-needed victory. Meanwhile, Wigan Athletic continued their impressive form either side of lockdown which has enabled them to surge out of the relegation zone, as they recorded a 3-0 win over struggling Stoke City thanks to a Kai Naismith brace which followed from a Jack Butland own goal. Luton Town earned a useful point in their battle to avoid the drop, as they held league leaders Leeds United to a 1-1 draw. Harry Cornick gave Luton the lead in the 50th minute, before this led to a domination from Leeds which resulted in a 63rd minute goal from Stuart Dallas, however, Leeds were unable to get that second goal which would have given them the victory.
