Round-up: The League 1 action continued today and it saw the leadership change hands, as Ipswich Town took advantage of the fact that Coventry City were not in action today (since they were meant to play Bury who have since been expelled from the League). as they recorded a slender 1-0 win away to Gillingham thanks to a goal from Kane Vincent-Young in the 32nd minute which enabled Ipswich to move to the summit. Wycombe Wanderers moved level on points with Coventry City (although they have played a game more) as they edged out their contest with Portsmouth in a match which saw both sides reduced to 10 men. It was first Wycombe who were reduced to 10 men as Nnamdi Ofoborh was shown a straight red card for an ill-timed tackle, though their man disadvantage lasted just a mere 3 minutes as Ellis Harrison was sent off for Portsmouth after being shown his second yellow card. It seemed like the match would end in a stalemate, until Wycombe were awarded a penalty nine minutes from time after a handball from Portsmouth's Tom Naylor, and Adebayo Akinfenwa stepped up to convert it. Fleetwood Town leapfrogged Sunderland into fourth place as they came from behind to beat Rochdale 2-1 thanks to goals from Danny Andrew and Ched Evans after Rekeil Pyke had given Rochdale the lead after just 8 minutes. Sunderland dropped behind Fleetwood in the table as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Bolton Wanderers. Jack Hobbs put Bolton in front five minutes into the second half, and it looked like they would earn their first win of the season, until Sunderland were awarded a penalty in the 90th minute which Aiden McGeady converted this time after he failed to do so in midweek against Rotherham. Doncaster Rovers bounced back from the defeat suffered in midweek late on at home to Blackpool with a 2-0 win against Peterborough United thanks to goals from veteran James Coppinger and Kieran Sadlier. Lincoln City suffered a 6-0 humiliation at home to Oxford United, a woeful result for the home side which demonstrates the work that new manager Michael Appleton has to do. Bristol Rovers moved up into eighth place as they came from behind to win 3-1 away to struggling AFC Wimbledon thanks to goals from Abu Ogogo, Jonson Clarke-Harris and Tony Craig after Marcus Forss had put the home side in front after 20 minutes. If the defeat was not disappointing enough for AFC Wimbledon, they were also reduced to 10 men as Forss was shown two yellow cards. Southend United earned their first league win thanks to Charlie Kelman's fourth minute goal which gave them a narrow 1-0 win away to Milton Keynes Dons. Tranmere Rovers scored two injury time goals which gave them the victory at home to Burton Albion. Lucas Akins put Burton Albion in front in the 66th minute after scoring from the penalty spot, before goals from Oliver Banks and Stefan Payne gave Tranmere their first win in just over a month. Accrington Stanley were denied victory in injury time as Blackpool's Matthew Virtus scored in the 90th minute to cancel out an earlier own goal from Curtis Tit, whilst Rotherham United and Shrewsbury Town played out a goalless draw.
