Round-up: The League 1 action continued with a midweek set of fixtures. Coventry City, who so far are top of the table, came from behind to record a 2-1 win over AFC Wimbledon. Marcus Forss gave Wimbledon the lead after just 8 minutes thanks to a penalty, before 20 minutes later Jordy Hiwula equalised. It looked as though the sides were going to have to take a share of the spoils, until Liam Walsh scored in the 90th minute to win the game for Coventry. Ipswich Town bounced back from being held to a goalless draw in the weekend by recording a narrow 1-0 win away to Milton Keynes Dons thanks to a goal from Jon Nolan which ensured that the Tractor Boys remained second in the table. Wycombe Wanderers followed up their disappointing defeat in the weekend with a 1-1 draw at home to Accrington Stanley, as Nick Freeman scored from the penalty spot to cancel out Dion Charles' earlier strike which had given Accrington the lead. Sunderland too were held to a 1-1 draw, as Rotherham United's Jake Hastie cancelled out Marc McNulty's first minute goal. There were also two matches which saw impressive comebacks from two goals down, as Tranmere Rovers came from two goals down to draw at home to high flying Peterborough United. Mo Eisa gave Peterborough the lead in the 54th minute, and this was doubled just two minutes later through Ivan Toney. This did not deter Tranmere however, as Liam Ridehalgh put them back into the match with a 65th minute goal, before 5 minutes later Oliver Banks levelled matters. The other match in which a team came back from two goals down was between Portsmouth and Burton Albion. Joe Sbarra and Kieran Wallace both scored after just six minutes which saw Burton Albion establish a two-goal lead, however, then they were reduced to 10 men after just 25 minutes of the match as John-Joe O'Toole was shown two yellows in the space of just 5 minutes. Portsmouth then halved the deficit with six minutes of the half remaining thanks to Ronan Curtis, however, it looked like it would not be enough until they were awarded a penalty in the 90th minute, which Brett Pitman converted to rescue a point for Pompey. Blackpool bounced back from successive defeats with a 1-0 win over Doncaster Rovers thanks to a very late goal from Armand Gnanduillet. Lincoln City, who are currently managerless following the departure of Danny Cowley to Huddersfield Town, ended their own run of back-to-back defeats with a 1-1 draw away to Rochdale, as Tyler Walker scored four minutes from time to cancel out Stephen Dooley's early strike which had put the home side in front. There was a seven goal thriller which was played out in Shrewsbury, as Shrewsbury Town came out on top in a 4-3 win over struggling and managerless Southend United. Omar Beckles and Jason Cummings scored to put Shrewsbury into a 2-0 lead after just 27 minutes, before 3 minutes Stephen McLauglin halved the deficit. Oliver Norburn then restored Shrewsbury's two goal cushion on the hour mark, before Stephen Humphrys got Southend back into the game once more. Callum Lang then once again put Shrewsbury two goals in front, before Simon Cox scored a 90th minute goal to give Southend hope once more, but that goal proved to be a mere consolation. There were two other drawn matches, as Bolton Wanderers held Oxford United to a goalless draw, whilst Bristol Rovers and Gillingham played out a 1-1 draw.
