Round-up: It was certainly a dramatic Tuesday evening of action in League 1 across the division. Early pace-setters Lincoln City, newly-promoted from League 2, suffered their first defeat of the season as they were beaten 2-1 by fellow promoted side MK Dons. Another of the early pace-setters, Blackpool, had to come from 2 goals down to earn a point away to Gillingham in a 2-2 draw. Although there was no action on the pitch, beleaguered Bolton Wanderers had drama of their own, as they postponed their match at home to Doncaster Rovers due to the fears of over-exerting their players. That is not to say, however, that there was no more drama on the pitch, as Shrewsbury Town remarkably came back from 2 goals down to beat Accrington Stanley 3-2 thanks to an 89th minute winner from Daniel Udoh. Another very entertaining match took place down on the South Coast, where Portsmouth and Coventry City played out an incredible 3-3 draw. Coventry took the lead in just the 3rd minute through Jordi Hiwula, before Portsmouth raced into a 3-1 lead by the 56th minute. As if at that point it was not difficult enough for Coventry to get a positive result from the match, in the 59th minute they were reduced to 10 men as Fankaty Dabo received his second yellow card. In the 75th minute Coventry did reduce the deficit as Matt Godden scored from the penalty spot, however, 3 minutes later they were reduced to NINE men as Gervane Kastaneer also received his second yellow card for the Sky Blues. However, this did not discourage Coventry, and they remarkably levelled the game thanks to a penalty from Michael Rose in the 86th minute. There was also drama in East Anglia, as Ipswich Town came from behind to beat AFC Wimbledon 2-1 thanks to two goals in the last 10 minutes from James Norwood and Kayden Jackson. Another entertaining game took place in Oxford, as Burton Albion led, went behind before coming from behind themselves to beat Oxford United 4-2 thanks to a Scott Fraser hat-trick. There was also drama in Fleetwood, as Fleetwood Town's Paddy Madden scored a 90th minute goal for the home side to rescue a point against Wycombe Wanderers. Sunderland made it back-to-back league wins for the first time since early April as they beat Rochdale 2-1, whilst Bristol Rovers finally got their first win of the season as they beat Tranmere Rovers 2-0 thanks to goals from Jonson Clarke-Harris and Tyler Smith from the penalty spot. Another team who also got their first win of the season were Peterborough United, as they won 2-0 away to Southend United, who are still without a point after four matches.
