Round-up: In a clash between two teams who boasted a 100% record going into today having won both their opening 2 matches, Exeter City and Swindon Town could not be separated as they held each other to a 1-1 draw, with Eoin Doyle's 88th-minute goal for Swindon cancelling out Matt Jay's opener. After they were on top of the table going into this weekend, Plymouth Argyle relinquished that spot after they suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of unbeaten Newport County thanks to a goal from Kyle Howkins. Forest Green Rovers have made a very positive start to the season, and today extended that after winning 1-0 at home to Grimsby Town thanks to a 75th minute goal from Junior Mondal. Despite having severe off-the-field problems and having lost manager Sol Campbell just two days ago, Macclesfield Town continued to make an impressive start to the season, after they beat Northampton Town 2-1 away from home thanks to a 90th minute winner from Theo Archibald. Crewe Alexandra have responded impressively after they suffered an opening day defeat against Plymouth Argyle, as they won 1-0 at home to Walsall despite going down to ten men towards the end of the match. Cambridge United have maintained their unbeaten start to the season, as they came from behind to beat Colchester United 2-1 thanks to goals from Marc Richards and Harry Darling, after Luke Norris have given Colchester the lead from the penalty spot. The same applies for Mansfield Town, as they won 2-0 away to Carlisle United. Newly-promoted Salford City earned themselves another point as they came from behind to draw 1-1 at home Port Vale. Meanwhile, Scunthorpe United have earned their first point of the season, as they played out a 2-2 draw at home to Crawley Town. However, Oldham Athletic are still without a point, as they suffered a 3-0 humiliation away to Bradford City. Elsewhere, Leyton Orient and Morecambe each played out a goalless draw, at home to Stevenage and Cheltenham Town respectively.
