Round-up: The Premier League action on Sunday began with struggling Newcastle United playing hosts to Wolverhampton Wanderers. In the first half, the hosts played the better football and they were rewarded for it in the 37th minute thanks to a header from Jamaal Lascelles which gave them the lead. However, in the second half it was the away side who improved markedly and played the better football, and their reward came in the 73rd minute thanks to Jonny's finish after some disappointing goalkeeping by Martin Dubravka. Newcastle were then reduced to 10 men as Sean Longstaff was shown a straight red card for an extremely reckless tackle on Ruben Neves, however, they managed to hold on for a point as Wolves went forward in search of a winner, though Matt Doherty missed a huge chance in injury time. Three matches took place later on in the day at the same time. Manchester United finally grabbed their first away win of the season, and their first since the end of February, as they won 3-1 away to Norwich City. United took the lead in the 21st minute thanks to Scott McTominay, before they were then awarded a contentious penalty thanks to the VAR for an alleged foul by Ben Godfrey on Daniel James in the penalty area, however, Marcus Rashford saw his penalty saved by Norwich goalkeeper Tim Krul. Rashford made amends not long after, though, as he doubled United's lead on the half-hour mark. United were then awarded another penalty through the VAR after a handball in the penalty area by Emiliano Buendia, however, despite the fact that this time Martial took the penalty instead of Rashford, it was the same outcome as the first penalty as Krul saved the penalty yet again. Martial did, however, make amends for his failure to convert from the penalty spot as he made the score 3-0 in the 73rd minute, before Onel Hernandez bagged a scant consolation two minutes from time for the hosts. League leaders Liverpool came from behind to beat Tottenham Hotspur, who took the lead after only 48 seconds thanks to Harry Kane. Liverpool then levelled the scoring 7 minutes into the second half thanks to a goal from Jordan Henderson, before they went ahead with a quarter of an hour to go thanks to a penalty which was converted by Mohamed Salah. Meanwhile, Arsenal raced into a two-goal lead inside the opening 10 minutes thanks to goals from defenders Sokratis and David Luiz, however, they inexplicably blew it to draw at home to Crystal Palace. After falling 2-0 down inside the opening 10 minutes, the away side were awarded a penalty as VAR ruled that Zaha did not dive in the penalty area and was indeed fouled by Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney, with Luka Milivojevic inevitably converting the resulting penalty to half the deficit. Crystal Palace then levelled the scoring just seven minutes into the second half thanks to a goal from Jordan Ayew. It clearly seems as though all is not well at Arsenal, as when manager Unai Emery substituted captain Granit Xhaka, he was booed off by the fans whom he reportedly insulted back whilst he took off his shirt and just stormed straight down the tunnel. The ball did go into the net for a fifth time in the match, as Sokratis bagged his second goal of the game, however, the goal was disallowed by the VAR due to an alleged foul by Calum Chambers in the build-up, and in the end the sides could not be separated and had to take a share of the spoils.
