Round-up: The Premier League action continued on Sunday with 3 matches, starting with Manchester United, who hosted an Everton side with their morale improved since the appointment of Duncan Ferguson as interim manager. As it turned out, Everton took the lead thanks an extremely unfortunate own goal from Manchester United defender Victor Lindelöf following a corner, although many would argue that the goal should not have stood as Dominic Calvert-Lewin possibly fouled goalkeeper David de Gea. It was a case of the same old story for Manchester United, who were struggling to break down their opponents who sat back for fairly large parts of the match, until substitute Mason Greenwood's shot from outside the box found the bottom corner in the 77th minute, and thus helped salvage a point for the Red Devils. At the same time as Manchester United's fixture, Tottenham Hotspur travelled to a Wolverhampton Wanderers side who were unbeaten in their previous 11 league games. A 91st minute header from Jan Vertonghen ended that run, after Adama Traoré had cancelled out Lucas Moura's 8th minute strike which had given Tottenham the lead. The action on Sunday concluded with an interesting, as a struggling Arsenal hosted reigning champions Manchester City. All it required was just 89 seconds for Manchester City to take the lead, as Kevin de Bruyne scored following a cutback from Gabriel Jesus which landed at the Belgian international's feet. The lead was doubled in only the 15th minute thanks to Raheem Sterling, before de Bruyne bagged his second goal of the game in the 40th minute, to give Manchester City an extremely comfortable 3-0 win in a match which felt more like a training session, and it is fair to say that the scoreline could have been worse for Arsenal but for some brilliant saves from goalkeeper Bernd Leno. The weekend's action concluded with a Monday night fixture, as Crystal Palace hosted Brighton & Hove Albion in a historic rivalry between two sides. It was a match in which Brighton were the superior team for the majority of it, and they were rewarded for it in the 54th minute when Neal Maupay struck to give them the lead. However, despite their superiority in the game, Brighton did not create numerous clear-cut chances and failed to extend their lead further. In the end, they paid for this, as Wilfried Zaha scored a brilliant goal in the 76th minute to equalise for Crystal Palace, and in the end the sides took a share of the spoils in a 1-1 draw.
